NREDCAP workshop on the implementation of “Andhra Pradesh electric mobility policy 2018-23”
The state government of Andhra Pradesh has passed electric mobility policy 2018-23 in June 2018 with the aim to actively promote an eco-friendly lifestyle to the people. NREDCAP (New & Renewable energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh) has taken initiative and conducted a workshop headed by NERDCAP ., MD Kamalakar Babu garu on the implementation of “Andhra Pradesh electric mobility policy 2018-23” on 8th August 2018 in Tadepalli, Amaravati.
The workshop agenda is to make AP as a hub for technology, research and development industries in Electric Mobility, as it is an evolving technology currently in India as well as improving public health and reducing ecological damage. In this regards, AVERA Team, CEO Ramana AVE & COO Chandini Chandana has taken part to present their queries/suggestions on Electric mobilization in Andhra Pradesh.
Many countries have already been adopting and enforcing electric vehicles policies. So AP Government is fastening up the process for adoption of electric vehicles and will facilitate incentives for the manufacturer having advanced batteries and charging equipment.
AVERA requested the government to provide incentives for the end users and give permissions to private players for setting up of charging stations for two-wheeler Electric scooters across the state which is going to be cost-effective and also huge scope for the development of charging infrastructure.
